Amouage Sunshine by Amouage Perfume. Launched in 2014, Amouage Sunshine by Amouage brings the power of summer into a bright, fun and vibrant bottle. While the bottle itself may recall the bright citrus-y seaside of the season, the scent notes focus more on the floral scents of the blooming season. The top notes include Artemisia, black currant and almond. The middle notes that really set this scent apart include osmanthus, vanilla, jasmine and magnolia. The base notes round out the experience with juniper, patchouli, papyrus and the unique scent of white tobacco.

Amouage was founded by the Sultan of Oman in 1983, and is unique because it focuses on using the plants and other notes native to the Middle East to inspire each and every one of the company’s perfume creation. This decision arose in response to the desire of His Highness Sayyid Hamad bin Hamoud to restore the great perfume industry in this particular region, and has operated successfully for decades under these ideals. Thus far, the company has created 79 perfumes, all created with this portion of the world as its inspiration.
