Modern Princess by Lanvin Perfume. Fruity-sweet and floral, Modern Princess was developed by Christophe Raynaud and released in 2016. There was a focus on the color red for this perfume, manifested in both the packaging and the perfume ingredients. Red apple and red currant are the top notes, followed the the white florals in the middle, freesia and jasmine. The base contains vanilla orchid, white musk, and blonde woody notes to balance out the fruits and flowers of the top and heart notes. The perfume is sensual and irresistible, best worn in warmer months during the daytime.

Founded in France by designer Jeanne-Marie Lanvin, the French fashion house Lanvin began with admiration for the beautiful clothes Jeanne-Marie made for her daughter. The company got its start in perfumery in 1924, and their most well-known fragrance is Arpége, launched in 1927 and still made today. The old perfume house has more than 60 perfumes to its name and still produces fragrances today.
