Molecule 04 by ESCENTRIC MOLECULES Perfume. German perfumer Geza Schoen released Molecule 04 in March of 2017. This new scent, based upon citrus and woody accords, is a fragrance made to be worn by both women and men. It’s based nearly entirely around pure Javanol, a scent which concentrates aromas of sandalwood and turns the dial up to ten. To lighten out the scent, the perfumer has encompassed the Javanol with luscious layers of grapefruit, rose, juniper, osmanthus, matic, and galbanum. With long-lasting longevity and moderate sillage, this scent doesn’t require constant reapplication.

While the molecule combination “Iso E Super” can be found in many different perfumes, no perfumer dared to isolate the scent and make a perfume solely based around it. That is, until Geza Schoen came along. The founder of Escentric Molecules, Schoen released the first Iso E Super-based perfume in 2006, which turned out to be an unexpected hit. The perfume house continues to release new scents every few years, even as recent as 2017.
