Mancera Black Line by Mancera Perfume. Released in 2013, Mancera Black Line is a shared women’s and men’s Oriental woody fragrance<. It opens with a head note of spicy notes. In the heart are rose, patchouli, amber, and leather notes. Musk, sandalwood, and guaiac wood base notes close this composition. While winter is the best season to wear this scent, it can also wear well in the fall and spring months for either day or evening wear. The flacon has a black cap, top, and base, with verticalstripes along the body and a black label, featuring gold print for the fragrance and brand names. Pierre Montale is a perfumer who started this career with his family’s business, Comptoir Sud Pacifique. After 15 years, the company was sold and he moved on to positions in perfumeries in Qatar and Dubai. In 2003, he returned to Paris, France, and established Montale, which was inspired by the oud fragrances that were common in the Middle East. In 2008, he founded Mancera, a lighter and fresher alternative to the Montale offerings.
